We know that high expectations can be realised with warm relationships, built on high standards of behaviour, punctuality and respect. Our daily expectations reflected in manners, uniform and equipment create an environment where pupils can focus on the high-quality, knowledge-rich curriculum.
Daily enrichment built into the school day promotes creativity, confidence, and healthy minds. We know that strong systems and consistency drive exceptional pupil outcomes, and we want to support families to benefit from this.

At Mercia Northridge School, we are committed to raising the standards and expectations of all our pupils.
In class and around the site, we follow the Mercia Northridge Way that is based upon educational evidence and securing pupil outcomes. In class, we lead from the front, using booklets to offer pupils a rich understanding of their subjects, developing our approaches to questioning, extended reading and writing and a culture of knowledge.
The school is calm and purposeful, with line-ups and structured approaches to social times helping to secure an orderly school with consistent approaches to behaviour. Our priorities are for a calm, safe school and disruption free learning.
The school is led by a desire to make decisions that are in the best interests of all pupils, but especially the most disadvantaged. We aim to ensure pupils are learning in an environment in which they can thrive.
